Holy Smoke BBQ with family for a delicious lunch today. We had the Quick Fix platter which has a half slab of ribs and five smoked wings. Don’t overlook the Brisket melt which is way down at the bottom of the menu….its worth the trip just for the sandwich. The beans have chunks of meat in them and were very good. Not pictured are the fries you would expect from a Wyandotte county bbq restaurant, hot, freshly fried crinkle cuts. The restaurant has a couple of tables if you choose to eat there, we did, but everything is packaged to go because almost everyone seemed to be getting takeaway. Restaurant located at 8050 Leavenworth road in KCK, which isn’t really near anywhere in particular…although not far from the Legends. This would be a great place to get food and have a picnic at Wyandotte County Lake with numerous shelters and lakeside spots to eat.
We had the ABSOLUTE BEST experience at Holy Smoke! The food was out of this world! Everything we ate was 100! KD made us feel at home. He is a polite, friendly young man. He even brought us out chicken wings to try. Every employee that was working tonight greeted, spoke, or checked on us. If we lived closer than 11 hours, Holy Smoke would be a regular stop for us. 10 out of 10!

The food was incredible! I got the Dottie Box with a side of beans and everything was wonderful. The ribs were cooked perfectly, wings were killer, the rib tips were tender and the sausage had a great smoke ring. The owner was kind enough to come out and chat and the passion he has for cooking really comes out in his food. Can't start recommending this place fast enough!
Brought a team of 12 in and they had us full and out the door within half an hour. Great place for lunch if you’re playing baseball or basketball nearby. Ribs were fall off the bone and wings were a big hit as well.
Another great KC BBQ spot. The burger was great! Baked beans amazing, wings top lunch, sausage .. the prices are also very very reasonable. It was a little small inside so I had to take it to go.

Delicious food, great service! We stopped by while road tripping and weren’t sure what to order. The folks here are super friendly and helped us choose a meal that gave us a sampling of lots of things, while being big enough to share. We ordered The Dottie Box: 1/2 slab, 5 wings, 1/2 lb sausage, 1/2 lb rib tips. Everything was great! Tender chicken, fall off the bone ribs (my fav), smoky sausage. So much flavor and variety. I also loved both the sweet and spicy bbq sauce. We ordered macaroni salad and fries for our sides, which were also good, but we were so full (with plenty left over!) that we couldn’t finish those! Overall fantastic and well worth the stop!
